| Lot description: Grove UNCAT (MFG Pág. 259) – ⅛Real (sin fechar) Real de Catorce. Huésped: G, Contramarca: VF.- Resello rectangular con una "C" y una "E" en su interior como abreviatura de "Catorce". La pieza huésped aparentemente de manufactura fundida y con canto limado, tomando como base para el molde un 1/8 Real de San Luis Potosí (KM# 366). Resello fuertemente aplicado, aunado a suficientes elementos visibles del huésped que permiten su fácil identificación, haciendo de este un ejemplar destacado ENGLISH: Grove UNCAT (MFG p. 259), ⅛ Real (Undated) Real de Catorce. Host coin: G, Countermark: VF. Rectangular countermark with a "C" and an "E" inside, abbreviated for "Catorce." The host coin appears to be of cast manufacture with a filed edge, using a San Luis Potosí 1/8 Real (KM# 366) as the basis for the mold. Strongly applied countermark, together with sufficient visible host details allowing easy identification, making this a notable example. Estimate: 1700 - 1800 MXN |  |
