| Lot description: Russia Elizabeth "Dassier" Rouble 1757 CПБ-RI XF Details (Mount Removed) PCGS, St. Petersburg mint, KM-C19c.3, Bit-282 (R1). Bust by Dassier. The famous Dassier Rouble, produced only on 1757 dated pieces, and named for the Swiss Engraver Jacques Dassier who designed this particular style of bust for Elizabeth. That specific bust was only employed on the Rouble and gold 10 Roubles of this particular date. The detail on the present specimen is sharper than the XF conditional assignment by PCGS would suggest, but this piece has many problems; cleaning, a few green corrosion spots, and the noted mount removal.
