Iran
The Order of the Crown (Order of the Taj) copper-plated silver & enamel Badge ND (Instituted 1941) XF, Werlich-707. 45mm. 3rd or 4th Class (wreath present). Founded in 1913 (AH 1332, as seen) during the Qajar reign to recognize distinguished service to the state, it existed in two classes until 1926 before being reformed to contain five classes after the Pahlavi dynasty came to power. The Qajar crown is still seen in the middle of the badge. The order was abolished after the 1979 revolution.
