Charles II, small cast and partially gilt Royalist badge, c. 1649, unsigned [possibly by Thomas Rawlins], armoured bust three-quarters l., with lion shoulder plates, hair long, plain collar and medal suspended from a riband, CAROLVS SECVNDVS, rev. arms within Garter, crown between CR above, in imitation of engraving, 31 x 21.5mm. (MI 439/6; MI plate XL, 11; Farquhar 2 p.276; Eimer 206), integral suspension loop and ring, the obverse field gilt, very fine and rare.
