Lot description: Sweden - 4 Mark 1569, Silver, JOHAN III 1568–1592 Stockholm mint. Crowned Vasa sheaf flanked by I R dividing denomination. Rev. Three crowns and text on three rows.SM 134c; Delz. 130.The different type of leaves indicates the silver content of the coin. In the beginning of 1569 the silver content was 87.5%, however after two decreases during the year, this third type (leaf without stalk or dot) only had a silver content of 62.5%.13.18 g. Leaf without stalk or dot. Cleaned in the past, but has retoned a bit. Edges almost razor sharp. Impressive mint luster!
