Sultans of Bijapur, Lead 10 cash of Ali Adil Shah II (1656-1672 AD), Chandavar (Thanjavur) mint, not listed in G&G, 9.11g. Obv: Farsi legend ...Adil Shah Muhammad Shah. Rev: Farsi legend Fulus Zarb Chandawar. Very fine, Rare. Estimate: 5,000 - 7,000

Footnote: Chandawar was the Islamic equivalent of Thanjavur, which was made tributary to the Adil Shahi Sultanate by Shahaji Bhonsle in early 1660s. This coin is an important testimony to the Maratha expansionism in the Deep South and bears a clear mint-name.
