London mint; im: sceptre. Struck under Parliament, 1646-1648. Crowned seventh bust left; XII (mark of value) to right / Coat-of-arms over short cross moline. Sharp (HLL) type H1/1 and p. 175 = Brooker 566A (this coin); North 2233; SCBC 2802. Undoubtedly a proof of record. Struck on a very broad flan. Much brilliance under rich old tone. EF.
