| Lot description: France Napoleon III gold 50 Francs 1868-BB MS64 PCGS, Strasbourg mint, KM804.2, Gad-1112. Mintage: 1,795. A conditionally fleeting Strasbourg issue that is also quite scarce in an absolute sense due to a mintage production of under 2,000. Heritage has never before offered an example of this coin certified so close to Gem Mint State, and no finer certified examples exist at either PCGS or NGC.
