Rabino 300. Äusserst selten / Extremely rare. NGC MS66. (~€ 1'040/USD 1'135) Mahmud Hotaki, also known as Ghilzai, son of Mir Vais Khan, a Pashtun ruler of the Hotak Dynasty, was born in 1697. Mahmud launched an expedition against Soltan Hosayn in 1722, and after defeating Hosayn's forces in the Battle of Golnabad, he encircled Isfahan and blocked all the roads leading to the city. The siege lasted from March to October 1722 and ended by the abdiction of Soltan Hosayn. Mahmud was then enthroned on October 23, 1722, as the new Shah of Persia.
