| Lot description: 'Abbasid Caliphate. Al-Muqtadir. AH 295-320 / AD 908-932. AV Dinar (26.7mm, 3.90 g, 12h). Hims mint. Dated AH 300 (AD 912/3). Pellet below eeverse field. Bernardi 242Gd (this date not recorded); Album 245.2. VF, light crease. Of the highest rarity, apparently unpublished and believed unique. Remarkably, Bernardi knew of only a single dinar from Hims for the entire reign of al-Muqtadir, dated AH 310.
