REX •, second crowned and cuirassed bust right, holding sword and sceptre, rev. (m.m) • FACIAM • EOS • IN • GENTEM • VNAM •, crowned and garnished square-topped shield, dividing I-R, m.m lys, 10.04g [154.9grns], 9h (Schneider II, - [cf. 22-23]; North 2083; Spink 2618), scratched across the reverse right-hand side and with a resulting smoothness to the obverse, some doubling to the obverse legend at 5 o'clock and to the surrounding devices, otherwise boldly struck in parts, very fine or better, the portrait with many redeeming qualities.
