| Lot description: CHINA. 30th Anniversary of the Taiwan Mint Brass Medal, Year 52 (1963). PCGS Genuine--Environmental Damage, Unc Details. L&M-1004; KMX-1170. Obverse: Legends commemorate the 30th anniversary of the mint's opening, with date below; Reverse: A rendition of the "birds over junk" design of the Sun Yat-sen dollar. A pleasing example of this popular medallic issue. Shimmering with full, golden luster and almost devoid of handling, this piece stands out visually from what is typically seen. Some scattered pitting accounts for the grade but this flaw is easy to overlook. Estimate: $600 - $900 |  |
