Engraver: Lewis Pingo. / Cruciform shields with large Garter star central, crowns in angles, date below, legend around NOTE: Varieties with or without a semée of hearts in the Hanoverian shield exist. Legend reads •M•B•F•ET•H•REX•F•D•B•ET•L•D•S•R•I•A•T•ET•E• 1787 Translation: King of Great Britain, France and Ireland, Defender of the Faith, Duke of Brunswick and Lueneburg, Arch Treasurer and Elector of the Holy Roman Empire Engraver: Lewis Pingo. Edge obliquely grained.
