George III (1760-1820), 'New Coinage' Shilling, 1818, laureate head right, rev. crowned shield in Garter, milled edge, 12h, 5.64g (ESC 1234; Bull 2150; Spink 3790), handsome lustre in the fields and lightly toned, extremely fine; Sixpences (3), 1818; 1819; 1820, laureate head right, rev. crowned shield in garter, milled edge, 12h, 2.80g; 12h, 2.80g; 12h, 2.83g (ESC 1634; 1636; 1638; Bull 2199; 2201; 2205; Spink 3791), all with a handsome lustre and varying degrees of toning, extremely fine; George IV (1820-1830), Shilling, 1825, bare head left, rev. crowned shield in Garter, milled edge, 6h, 5.62g (ESC 1254; Bull 2405; Spink 3812), bright and lightly contact marked, nevertheless with a pleasing residual lustre and handsome detail to the hair, about extremely fine (5).
