(m.m.) • FACIAM • EOS • IN • GENTEM UNAM • crowned and garnished shield dividing I-R, 9.89g [152.6grns], 3h, m.m. coronet (Lingford -, cf. 920-922; Schneider II, - [cf. 23-27]; North 2084; Spink 2619), traces of die clashing in obverse field and roughness to edge at 12 o'clock, otherwise naturally toned with purplish blue and red-brown hues, struck details fine or better.
