Citing the ʿAbbasid caliph al-Mustadi bi-amr Allah (AH 566-575 / AD 1170-1180), 'lā ilāha illā / Allāh waḥdahū / lā sharīka lahū / al-Mustaḍī bi amr / Allāh' ('There is no deity but Allah, the One, there is no partner to Him. al-Mustadi bi-amr Allah' in Arabic); above, to left and right, 'Ḥusām – al-Dīn – Ayādughdī' ('Husam al-Din Aydughdu' in Arabic); in the margin, 'bism Allāh ḍuriba hādhā al-dīnār bi ʿAskar sana ... wa khamsa miʾa' ('In the name of Allah. This dinar was struck in ʿAskar in the year 5xx' in Arabic). Rev. Citing the Great Seljuq Arslan ibn Tughril (AH 556-571 / AD 1161-1176) and his brother, Muhammad, 'Muḥammad rasūl Allāh / al-sulṭān al-aʿẓam Abu/'l-Muẓẓaffar Arslān ibn Ṭughril / al-sulṭān al-muʿaẓẓam Abū / Shujāʿ Muḥammad ibn Ṭughril' ('Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. The supreme sultan Abu'l-Muzaffar Arslan son of Tughril.
