This nicely preserved large size ingot displays light attractive gray tone with richer coloration near the edges. The stamps, located on the sides of the face are deeply applied, though some of the characters are somewhat obscured or missing altogether due to placement. Close inspection of the face reveals remnants of an ink inscription, though most has rubbed off. The reverse exhibits large protrusions due to catastrophic failure of the mold indicating prolonged use. Minor earthen deposits are noticed in the crevasses adding to its originality and pleasing appearance. Estimate: $10000 - $15000 | ![]() |
