Lot description: TENASSERIM-PEGU: Anonymous, 17th/18th century, cast large tin coin (39.68g), VC-400, Robinson-plate 12.2 (#67/68, same mold), 66mm; the tò (mythical antelope) facing left, long snout, with feathery legs and without a branch in its mouth, large pellet above the tò // 6-spoke wheel in the center, Buddhist legend around in Burmese letters ("city of great happiness"), EF, RRR. The tò facing left is much rarer than that facing right. We have handled only 3 left, but at least 20 right in our auctions, as recorded on CoinArchives. Estimate: 250-350 USD | ![]() |
