Lot description: BOLIVIA. Cob 4 Reales, ND (1578-86)-P. Potosi Mint; Assayer Juan Ballesteros (B). Philip II. PCGS Genuine--Damage, EF Details. KM-4.2; Cal-525. Weight: 13.52 gms. Variety with 5 fleurs de lis. A handsome and darkly toned 4 Reales piece. Although most of the legend is off-flan, the obverse preserves bold mintmark, assayer, and denomination marks. The noted damage is on the reverse, with some corroded surfaces and a pair of tiny punches along the rim. The coin presents well overall, however, with much detail to appreciate.
