| Lot description: PERU. Cob 2 Escudos, 1698-C M. Cuzco Mint. Charles II. PCGS MS-64. Fr-4; KM-28; Cal-855. Weight: 6.69 gms. An incredible grade for this crudely produced minor, this present piece--on the cusp of Gem status--offers golden yellow brilliance and a rather sharp strike on its oddly shaped and somewhat compact flan.
