Bare-headed and draped half-length male bust facing slightly to left, holding globe in right hand, scepter across torso in left; abjad date to left. Rev. Arabic inscription in four lines, stating the name and titles of Fakhr al-Din Qara Arslan; arabesque below. Album 1820.7. S&S Type 7. Whelan Type IV, 123-4. Brown patina. Very fine.
