ANCIENT ROMAN COINS, Elagabalus (AD 218-222), Æ 26mm., minted at Perinthus, Thrace, laureate head facing right, rev Zeus seated left, holding a patera and a sceptre; Gordian III (AD 238-244), Æ 26mm, minted at Nikopolis, Moesia Inferior, laureate and draped bust facing right, rev eagle standing right, its wings spread and head turned to left. Both very fine. (2)
