SPAIN. Circa 1st century BC - 1st century AD. PB Tessera (47mm, 166.78 gm). Nude male walking left, carrying bell(?) and shovel over his shoulder; P S across field; all within wreath / Harrow (or miner's axe?). Plomos pg. 26, 3 (listed as "unique"). VF, dark color, waxed. Extremely rare. ($750)

The reverse object is described as a plow, or harrow, but it may be a miner's axe with a curved wooden haft and an inset iron blade. The objects carried by the man are also problematic.
