MOESIA INFERIOR, Odessus. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ Pentassarion (26mm, 11.08 g, 6h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gordian and draped bust of Serapis, wearing calathus and with cornucopia over shoulder, facing one another / Gordian standing left, with foot on prow, holding victoriola and reversed spear; E (mark of value) to left. AMNG I 2362; Varbanov 4493. VF, dark green patina.
