THRACE, Bizya. Philip I, with Otacilia Severa. AD 244-249. Æ Tetrassarion (27mm, 11.89 g, 8h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Philip and draped bust of Otacilia Severa, wearing stephane, facing one another / Magna Mater (Cybele) seated left on throne, holding patera; below, lion crouching left. Cf. Jurukova 146/140 (same obv. die/same rev. die); Varbanov 1581 var. (obv. legend; same rev. die). VF, brown patina, some metal flaws and scratches.
