SYRIA, Coele-Syria. Damascus. Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. Æ (22mm, 7.09 g, 12h). Dated CY 283 (30/29 BC). Bare head right / Tyche seated left on rock, extending arm and holding cornucopia; river-god at feet; L ΓΠ/Σ (date, retrograde) to left; all within wreath. De Saulcy 1; RPC I 4786.15 (this coin, illustrated on pl. 173); DCA 500. Near VF, brown surfaces, obverse a bit weak.
