THESSALY, Koinon of Thessaly. Gallienus. AD 253-268. Æ Tetrassarion (22mm, 10.62 g, 7h). AVT ΓAΛ-ΛHNOC AV, radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / KOINON ΘЄC[CAΛΩ]N, warrior advancing right, holding spear in his right hand, shield on left arm; Δ (mark of value) in left field. Burrer, MA-G 53; BCD Thessaly II 991.3 (same obv. die); Rogers –. Fine, rough brown surfaces. Rare.
