PHOENICIA, Tyre. Macrinus. AD 217-218. Æ (26mm, 11.06 g, 12h). Laureate head right / Astarte standing facing, placing hand on trophy, being crowned by Nike atop short column to right; palm tree between trophy and Astarte, murex shell between Astarte and column. Rouvier 2332; BMC –; AUB 214 corr. (mistakenly describes palm tree as Marsyas). VF, earthen green patina. Rare.
