MYSIA, Cyzicus. Commodus. AD 177-192. Æ Medallion (36mm, 19.51 g, 5h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / the Abduction of Persphone: Hades in galloping quadriga left, carrying away Persephone; fallen flower basket below horses. SNG France -; SNG von Aulock -; RPC online temp. 9751 (same dies). FDC, porous, brown patina. Extremely rare - RPC Online cites only a single specimen (Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna).
