PHRYGIA, Hadrianopolis-Sebaste. Geta, as Caesar. 198-209 AD. Æ 20mm (5.53 gm). Bare-headed right / Zeus standing left, holding eagle and sceptre. SNG von Aulock -; SNG Copenhagen -; Lindgren & Kovacs -; cf. Glaux 8, 1356 (Cidyessus, Aesculapius); Mionnet -. VF, black patina with earthen highlights. An apparently unique and unpublished type.
