LACONIA, Lacedaemon (Sparta). Commodus. As Caesar, AD 166-177. Æ Diassarion (7.29 g, 12h). Bare-headed and draped bust right / ΛAKЄ/ΔAI/MONI/ωN across field; all within wreath. Grunauer group XLV, series 3, 3.2 (V1/R3 – this coin); BCD Peloponnesos 942.1-2. Fine, brown surfaces.
