SYRIA, Coele-Syria. Heliopolis. Philip I. AD 244-249. Æ 28mm (19.53 g, 6h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Temple precinct, containing temple, altar, and urn, with approaching stairway left on rocky and wooded outcropping; all viewed from aerial perspective; urn in left field. SNG München 1036; cf. SNG Copenhagen 435; Price & Trell 703. VF, black patina with scattered earthen deposits. Rare.
