CILICIA, Anazarbus. Julia Mamaea. Augusta, AD 222-235. Æ Tetrassarion (25mm, 9.21 g, 11h). Dated CY 249 (AD 230/1). Draped bust right, wearing stephane / Octastyle temple; globe in pediment; ΘMC (date) in exergue. Zeigler 553 (Vs1/Rs3); SNG BN –; RPC VI Online 7356; SNG Levante 1476. Green patina, light roughness. Near VF.

Zeigler lists dates HMC and ΘMC for Julia Mamaea, this coin appears to have an over struck date, showing evidence of both dates. Ziegler Rs3 also shows the same evidence of over striking.
