EGYPT. Alexandria. Antoninus Pius, 138-161. Drachm (Bronze, 34.50 mm, 24.85 g, 12 h), year ΚΔ = 24 = 160-161. [AYT] K TI AI AΔPI - ANTω[NINOC CEB EYC] Laureate and draped bust of Antoninus Pius to right. Rev. L K-Δ Ram standing right, wearing the hemhem crown; above, bust of Serapis to right, wearing taenia and kalathos; before ram, Egyptian altar. Dattari (Savio) 2835. Geissen 1857. K&G -. RPC IV.4 Online temp. 15411. Very rare, only three examples cited by the RPC. Bold, with an intriguing reverse and a brown and green patina. Good very fine.
