THRACE, Perinthus. Gallienus. AD 253-268. Æ (29mm, 13.95 g, 7h). AYT ΓAΛΛHNOC CЄ[B], radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / ΠEP[INΘIΩN] ΔIC NEΩKOPΩN, galley right; below, two dolphins vis-à-vis. Schönert, Perinthos –, but see obv. die B; Varbanov–, but see 589 illustration (same die); Pecunem 34, lot 769; Lanz 160, lot 513. Green patina, earthen encrustation, minor pitting, flan preparation marks. Near VF. Extremely rare, only the Pecunem and Lanz coins in CoinArchives .
