ΑΥΤΟΚ Κ Μ ΑΝΤ ΓΟΡΔΙΑΝΟC CЄΒ Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III to left, seen from behind. Rev. ΔΗΜΑΡΧ ЄΞΟΥCΙΑC / S C Eagle with spread wings standing facing, head to left and holding wreath in beak. McAlee 868A. Prieur -. RPC VII.2 online ID 68032. Extremely rare. A beautiful piece with an excellent portrait. Harshly cleaned and with very light deposits on the obverse, otherwise, good extremely fine.
