ΑΥΤΟΚ Κ Μ ΑΝΤ ΓΟΡΔΙΑΝΟC CЄΒ Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III to left, seen from behind, holding spear in his right hand and shield with his left. Rev. ΔΗΜΑΡΧ ЄΞΟΥCΙΑC / S C Eagle with spread wings standing facing, head to left and holding wreath in beak. McAlee 868C. Prieur -. RPC VII.2 online ID 73603. Extremely rare. Lightly toned and with a very unusual bust type. Very fine.
