PHOENICIA, Tyre. Macrinus. AD 217-218. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 13.72 g, 12h). Laureate head right / Eagle standing facing on club right, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; murex shell between legs. Prieur 1554 (this coin). Good VF, toned with underlying luster. Very rare, four known to Prieur, and six in CoinArchives.
