PHOENICIA, Byblus. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 12.20 g, 7h). Struck AD 215-217. Laureate and cuirassed bust right, with gorgoneion on breastplate / Eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; altar between legs. Prieur 1312 (this coin). Good VF, toned, some light porosity, minor deposits. Extremely rare, only two known to Prieur, and none in CoinArchives.
