PHOENICIA, Berytus. Divus Augustus. Died AD 14. AR Tetradrachm (13.25 g, 11h). Struck under Nerva or Trajan, AD 96-117. Bare head left / COL BER, Neptune standing left with right foot on prow of galley, holding dolphin and trident. J. Rouvier, “Numismatique des villes de la Phénicie,” JIAN (1900), 502; RPC I, p. 648; SNG Copenhagen -; Lindgren III 1367 (same obv. die). Good VF, black-green patina with traces of orange and bright green overtones.
