SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Philip I. AD 244-249. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 11.12 g, 6h). Struck AD 248-249. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust left with shield to lower left ornamented with gorgoneion / Eagle standing right, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; ANTIOXIA/S C in two lines in exergue. Prieur 451; McAlee 959 (this coin illustrated). Near EF, toned, light porosity, scratch before Philip's face.
