| Lot description: Ancients Septimius Severus (AD 193-211). AE as (25mm, 10.22 gm, 5h). NGC XF 5/5 - 2/5, smoothing. Rome, AD 208. SEVERVS-PIVS AVG, laureate bust of Septimius Severus right, aegis on left shoulder / P M TR P XVI / COS III P P / S C, bridge with arches, five people walking across, towers in the form of a triumphal arch at both ends, surmounted by facing quadriga between two Victories, with three arches below; boat with oars sailing left with two riders on waves below. RIC IV.I 786a. From the Morris Collection.
