[KAICAP] CEBACTOY, bare head of Augustus right. Reverse: [FI?I??OY] TETPAPXOY, bare head of King Herod Philip right; across field, date (L [E]). Hendin 1219; TJC 95; RPC 4938. An excellent example of this very rare first issue of the King. The rarest coin in the Herod Philip Coinage. Dusty grayish-brown patina with some earthen highlights. Very Fine.
