LYCIAN LEAGUE. Myra-Maicytus. Circa 30 BC - 40 AD. Æ Dupondius (13.29 gm). M-A across fields, laureate and draped bust of Apollo right; lyre at point of bust / ΛΥΚΙΩΝ in outer circle, tripod, branch left, M-A on either side. Troxell Period V, unlisted variety; Peus Auktion 351 (23-25 April 1997), lot 237 (same obverse die). Near EF, black patina on the obverse, dark green on the reverse, light roughness on obverse. Unpublishedi n the standard works. The second recorded specimen! ($500)
