C•CAESAR•AVG•GERMANICVS•P•M•TR•POT• / PIETAS, Pietas veiled, seated to left, holding patera in her right hand and leaning left on small draped figure standing on basis. Rev. DIVO - AVG / S - C, Gaius veiled and togate, standing front, head to left, holding patera over garlanded altar on which a bull is about to be sacrificed; to left, victimarius standing front, head to right, holding bull by the neck; to right, attendant standing front, head to left, holding patera in his left hand; in the background, garlanded hexastyle Temple of Divus Augustus with statues atop, decorated pediment and Corinthian capitals.
