ΑΥΤΟΚΡΑΤΩΡ ΟΥΕC[...?] ΚΑΙCΑΡ CΕΒΑCΤΟC Laureate head of Vespasian to left. Rev. ΤΙΤΟC ΚΑΙ ΔΟΜΙΤΙΑΝΟC Confronted bare heads of Titus and Domitian. RPC II, 2812. SNG Righetti 510 (Crete). SNG Tübingen 4744. Scratch, some surface roughness, typical die break on reverse, otherwise, good fine. | Lot description: PAMPHYLIA. Sillyon. Geta, 198-209. (Bronze, 18 mm, 6.41 g, 7 h). ΑΥ Κ Π C ΓΕΤΑC Laureate head of Geta to right. Rev. CΙΛΛΥΕΩΝ Draped bust of Mên to right, wearing Phrygian cap, set on crescent. RPC V.3, ID 82421 (temporary). Extremely rare. Perhaps the third and finest known example. Well centered and with a charming portrait of Geta. Very fine. The editors of SNG Paris and RPC attributed an example of this type to Maximinus (SNG Paris 995; RPC VI, 6211 (temporary)).
