| Lot description: Greco-Baktrian Kingdom, Eukratides II 'Soter' AR Tetradrachm ANCIENT GREECE. GRECO-BAKTRIAN KINGDOM. Eukratides II 'Soter'. Silver Tetradrachm, circa 170-145 BC. Obv: diademed and draped bust right, wearing crested helmet adorned with bull's horn and ear; all within bead-and-reel border. Rev: the Dioskouroi on horses prancing right, each holding spear and palm; ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΜΕΓΑΛΟΥ above, ΕΥΚΡΑΤΙΔΟΥ below, monogram in right field. Extremely Fine; beautifully struck, leaving both portrait and reverse design in high relief, subtle light tone. Acquired from Tamco Numismatics, stock ticket included.
