PHOENICIA, Botrys. Elagabalus. AD 218-222. Æ (28mm, 18.99 g, 5h). Dated CY 250 (AD 219/20). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Statue of Astarte standing facing, wearing kalathos, holding long scepter and four globes; within hexastyle temple with arcuated lintel and central stairway; NC (date) flanking stairs. Sawaya, Botrys 12 corr. (dated CY 251); RPC VI Online 8215.3 = Dow, ACTTB, p. 193 (this coin). Dark red-brown patina, slight roughness, edge flaw. Good Fine.
