Near Extremely Fine; beautiful old iridescent tone; area of weak strike on obverse; reverse struck somewhat off center. The Peter Bartlett Collection. The "No Kings" coin: Marcus Junius Brutus here celebrates two illustrious ancestors who both conspired to assassinate men who would be kings of Rome, Tarquin the Proud in 509 BC, and Spurius Maelius in 439 BC.
