ATTICA. Athens. Circa 393-355 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 17.08 g, 9 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette. Rev. AΘE Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square. HGC 4, 1598. Kroll 15. Svoronos pl. 20 passim. Beautifully toned. Light deposits and marks and with traces of overstriking (?) in the obverse, otherwise, nearly very fine.
